Asian Women’s Archive in STEM
Asian Women’s STEM Archive provides digital access to outstanding Asian women scientists in all fields from the 19th century to today.
About the project
Asian women in STEM career fields are often facing problems such as intersectional bias and underreporting, so our team created a historical archive for these Asian women experts in STEM and made great contributions to this world throughout history. Based in Washington, DC, this project is a mini database of Asian women’s legacies in STEM related careers and projects. We don’t write blogs or articles for each individual, we research, find credible sources, and insert links to each single portfolio about their lives and achievements.
*The term “Asian” refers to ethnicity rather than nationality. We include but not limited to Central Asian, East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, and West Asian women. Not including non-binary or transgender men.
